Common Blue - Polyommatus icarus

The Common Blue is not so common as it's name suggests. Last year [2016] their numbers fell alarmingly, especially with the first brood, but thankfully their numbers improved with the second brood, around August and September, but not in the quantities in past years. This year however, has seen numbers greatly improved. I have already seen more so far this year than i did in the whole of last year...
